Dear Keaton; and all those who have fallen victim to hurtful words...
You are loved, chosen, and worthy, of all the love there is to give in this world.
You were bought with a price, one far greater than any bully could afford at the cost of himself.
He, or she, whoever is hurting you, I promise you, they are hurting as well. Their words come from a deep place of hatred and shame and as hard as it may be to understand this, they are loved, chosen, and worthy too.
Hurt people hurt people.
When your heavenly Father was on that cross, He had you, and that bully in mind. So, love them, pray for them, and most importantly, FORGIVE them.
While you may feel like a victim, the victory has already been won my friend, and you can rest in that.
And my dear Keaton, it DOES get better. While we may not understand why words and actions hurt so much, do understand this, you are worth SO MUCH MORE than the words and ways of your offender.
Add me to the long list of your friends and those who are behind you. You are so loved. You are a VICTOR, not a victim, in Christ Jesus.
And remember, those tears are ones of strength, not of weakness, its okay not to be okay.
Lastly, to Keaton's mama,
Dear one, you are full of so much strength. I know its hard to see your precious one in so much pain, rest in the fact that the hardest battles can be fought on our knees, in the One Who is the ultimate Comforter and Defender. You're doing just great, mama.
